FORT PINTA BEACH PARTY!

Hey there Star Fam! Welcome to my first blog post on the new website!

With these blog posts, I will be reading over the Star Stable news post, completing the new update myself in game, and will then return here and write down what I thought about each separate section of the update!

So let's get into it!

CELEBRATE THE SUMMER WITH TIM HOOPER!

So once again, Tim Hooper has returned back to Jorvik for the summer, and is hosting his beach party down at Fort Pinta!

So with this years beach party update, the quest line was changed slightly, no more passing out due to Tim's horrible drink concoction!

Honestly I am happy about the change, it makes much more sense, the passing out part of the past quest line never really made much sense to me, and always left me confused, and maybe slightly concerned...?

However, now our player just seems to show confusion and disgust about the drink, as shown with the new animations and cut scenes, before then moving on to helping Tim improve his recipe!

Which I again love! I enjoy the idea that us players are learning to give a helping hand where we can! Life lessons are important.

Nice job team!

BEAUTIFUL LANTERNS!

Once again, after being newly introduced in last years summer update, Kylie Summerbreeze has made another appearance in this years update, selling her lanterns, that us players can release up into the Jorvik sky for all to see!

I loved when this was introduced last year, it gave us more things to do with our fellow friends and players!

Interactive updates that we can do with friends over and over, outside of quests, have always been one of my favourite types of updates. It gives us more activities to complete, and also gives us a chance to interact with others, instead of just riding around Jorvik alone, with just our four legged companion!

The lanterns look beautiful at night, they glow and float away just like they would in real life! Rapunzel would be pleased!

We also now have new clothing within the annual beach party shop!

Our avatars can now show off their toes with a brand new type of footwear!

I think these new sandals are super cute. And even though I don't really like wearing sandals myself outside of the Star Stable world, I still enjoy the new footwear, they look super fancy, and my avatar looks great!

The new dress designs are also very pretty and elegant, however, I wish we had the choice to not wear any pants or skirts under the dress. It can sometimes make the look seem slightly congested. Maybe something to add for the future?

Now let's talk bows! The new bow designs that came out a little time ago, are currently my favourite looking bows, so with even more colour variations being added into this weeks update, and at such a low price, I had to pick them up!

PET YOUR HORSE!

Ah! This is probably my favourite part of this weeks update, petting our horses!

We get to show our furry companions some love, by petting them! CUTE!

However, I have noticed that our characters mostly pet the air in front of the horse, instead of actually on the horses nose.

This may just be because the team doesn't want to run the risk of the characters hands morphing through the horses face. So by allowing the extra space, there is less risk of our hands getting a little too close to our horses eyes.

NEW TRAILER FEATURE!

This is a feature that many players have been asking for, your requests have been accepted!

We can now take ANY trailer to ANY destination all over Jorvik! No more jumping out of one trailer to then jump into another to then finally reach our destination!

This is once again, something that I very much appreciate, I can now save some shillings to buy some lanterns and snacks to take to the beach party!

And lastly for this first blog post, the horse market location.

The Market can be found by the Fort Pinta harbor, right next to the pony barge!
