Update day: August 8, 2018

Happy weekend everyone!

HAAAAAAVE YOU MET YDRIS?

So I really enjoyed this section of this weeks update! We received the new journal feature a little while back, and now we can read about even more members of Jorvik!

This week, 18 more characters were added to the journal, I really enjoyed reading through these and finding out more about the people of Jorvik.

The amount of detail we are able to read about the characters is amazing, we find out their birthdays, favorite foods and descriptions about them overall! I ended up finding out that Me and Justin Moorland have similar Birthdays, just one day apart! I'll be wishing Justin a Happy birthday on August 30th!

NEW ACHIEVEMENTS!

This week we have even more Achievements to hunt for! I love these interactive updates, things that we are able to complete. These achievements are also activities that we can do with friends!

I like how the achievements vary, they are not all things that you can wipe of out all in one day, you have to work for them. It really gives you a larger appreciation for them if you think about it.

Prepare your group of achievement hunters, pick your fastest horse, and start working your way through those achievements!

ANIMATION UPDATE

Many of us are happy about this update!

Ever had it when you hit a rock, or maybe a tree during a race? And then it takes foreeeever to get to top speed again?

Well, we no longer have to deal with the very slow startup again. The team have changed the animation for when we run into an obstacle, we no longer rear and take our time to get going again. Our horses now do a super cool quick stop, and are instantly able to get their legs moving at the speed of light once again!

This new update is so handy and very relieving, I run into a LOT of obstacles in my day to day in game routine, so now I can get back to my tasks without having to wait for my horse to leisurely get back to it.

LAST WEEK WITH JOJO SIWA!

Sadly this week will be our last week with Jojo.

I'll be sad to see her go, her character model is such a beautiful design, and the animations are awesome!

But I'm sure the team will include more characters with just as much life as Jojo, like Ydris for example!

JULY BUG FIXES

And lastly, bug fixes!

I love the way the team words their articles, but these bug fixes are just written so well, and are very entertaining to read how the team explains things, while also keeping it fun and light hearted!

Here are the bug fixes straight from the Website!

"In addition to a few text changes and typo fixes, we also fixed a number of bugs last month. Here's a few of them:

★ Some daily quests left some glitter and sparkles in strange places after you had finished the quests. No matter how much we love us some glitter, we cleaned it up to make it less confusing. ★ Some old dialogue icons has been updated, for example the one belonging to the hungry wolf in Goldenhills Valley. ★ Back in Crescent Moon Village we had to call some carpenters since one of the arrows for the village race somehow wound up inside of a house. The arrow is back to its original spot by now! ★ The weather down in the Valley of the Hidden Dinosaur must have been worse than usual lately, because some of the mist managed to find its way all the way down to Goldspur's Farm!
